DIY Cleaning Agents

Multi-surface cleaning spray ingredients

• Baking Soda

• White Vinegar

• Warm water (to dissolve all ingredients)

• Optional:

  • Essential oil (for scent)

  • Make sure to choose an organic formula.

  • Keep in mind animals (your fur babies) can be sensitive/harmful to certain essential oils.

  • Herbs or flowers for scent may be a suitable alternative (may not be as fragrant)

  • Effective: walls, counter tops, oven, microwave, food/drink spills, general grim or tough surfaces

Disinfectant spray ingredients

• Hydrogen peroxide

  • Place in a glass spray bottle; do not dilute.

  • Effective: killing viruses and bacteria and highly effective in killing the bacteria which create the common cold. This item is best on non-pours areas. This cleaning agent is best on glass, metal, plastic.

  • Effective as a stain remover as well, but this product is powerful. Be weary it can turn whites yellow or fade colors with excessive use.

• Alcohol in spray bottle as disinfectant

  • Place in a glass spray bottle; do not dilute.

  • Added lime juice from one lime for subtle scent.

  • Effective: killing viruses and bacteria and highly effective in killing the bacteria which create the common cold. This product functions well on all surfaces, great for fabrics, as it is fast drying.
